Job summary

Nexus-PATH, part of Nexus Family Healing, seeks a Mental Health Therapist to support youth at Luther Hall in Fargo, ND on-site. You will manage treatment through assessment, therapy, and discharge planning in a trauma-informed setting, engaging with families and collaborating with providers to ensure successful transitions.

The role emphasizes evidence-based family and individual therapy, fostering a supportive milieu and coordinating with the treatment team for discharge planning and aftercare.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a behavioral science or related field.
• Active licensure: MSW, LAPC, LPC, LPCC, LMFT, or LCSW.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to build relationships with diverse individuals or communities and understand their needs.
• Open to meeting cultural needs of individuals or communities.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a trauma-informed treatment milieu.
• Lead development of Individual & Family Guidance Plans.
• Engage in family collaborative intake meetings.
• Complete CANS assessments.
• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans with families and youth.
• Provide trauma-focused and evidence-based therapy models.
• Attend supervision and team meetings as required.
• Facilitate milieu and treatment groups.
