Job summary

The Center for Youth and Family Solutions (CYFS) in Bloomington, IL seeks a Mental Health Juvenile Justice Coordinator to assess and link youth with services, under supervision. The role emphasizes trauma-informed, client-centered approaches with families, to reduce juvenile justice involvement.

Responsibilities include managing referrals, developing service plans, and documenting required information to meet funder and legal requirements. Schedule is flexible based on client availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field is required or preferred as described.
• Experience in human services is preferred to support duties.

Responsibilities

• Manage MHJJ referral processes, outreach, and engagement for referrals.
• Provide strengths-focused, trauma-informed assessments and service planning for youth and families.
• Provide case management to ensure linkage, referral, and engagement in needed services.
• Document services in accordance with legal statute, funder requirements, and agency policies.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Family Therapy, Counseling or Psychology, or closely related Human Service field

2 years of experience in a human service position (preferred)
