Joe Torre Safe at Home Foundation is seeking a dedicated clinician for school-based counseling and trauma-informed programming. The role involves daily campus presence with hybrid summer work, offering individual and group counseling to youth exposed to violence or abuse and leading peer leadership groups.

The ideal candidate has a master’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years’ experience working with children and adolescents, with strong commitment to anti-racist, culturally sensitive

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience working with children and adolescents; trauma-informed principles and practice.

Aufgaben

• Be physically present on the school campus every day that school is in session. Hybrid work during the summer months.
• Provide individual and group counseling to youth exposed to violence or abuse.
• Teach trauma education/violence prevention curriculum to youth.
• Develop and facilitate weekly peer leadership groups and events.
• Develop and implement anti-violence campaigns with peer leadership groups.
• Provide outreach, referrals, and workshops for parents/legal guardians and staff.
• Attend meetings and collaborate with staff and administration.
• Participate in supervision and program research as required.
