The Joe Torre Safe At Home Foundation is seeking a program professional to deliver violence prevention curricula in LA County schools. The role focuses on creating safe environments, trauma-informed interventions, and healthy relationship education for 4th, 7th, and 9th graders.

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Education, or a related field, with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and proficiency in various office software applications.
• Demonstrate creativity, be self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Ability to be adaptable and support the program department in achieving its objectives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver violence prevention curriculum to 4th, 7th and 9th grade students in LA County schools, fostering a safe, supportive learning environment.
• Assist with prevention components/activities at MP sites, including outreach, workshops, campaigns, and Peer Leadership.
• Facilitate prevention activities at non-MP sites and support district-level deliverables at assigned schools.
• Provide coverage for prevention services at MP sites as needed.
• Participate in weekly programmatic and administrative supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate records in line with privacy laws and policies.
• Assist on-site program research and evaluation, contributing to data collection and reporting.
