Job summary

Everstand is seeking a Unit Supervisor to provide leadership and supervision to Youth Care Professionals within a trauma-responsive environment. You will support the interdisciplinary team, coach staff, and ensure safe, high-quality care for youth across Maryland.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in a related field with 1 year of supervisory or management experience in a related field.
• A Master’s degree in a related field with 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a related field.
• One year experience in providing direct services to children/youth and families.

Responsibilities

• Provides effective supervision to Youth Care Professionals to ensure childcare direct care services are consistently provided based on Everstand’s treatment philosophy, mission, practices and policies.
• Lead the interdisciplinary care team and coach staff to maintain a trauma-responsive environment.
• Ensure accurate medication administration, documentation, and safe storage per Maryland guidelines.
• Oversee campus supervision responsibilities on a rotating basis, including evenings or weekends as needed.
• Develop daily individualized structures tailored to high-acuity residents and promote life skills programming.
