Job summary

Sunny Glen Children’s Home is seeking a Direct Care Worker to supervise and support children in DFPS custody. You will follow daily schedules, administer medications as needed, assist with meals, activities, and transportation, and serve as a positive role model for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish (Preferred).
• Education: High school diploma or GED; must live a Christian lifestyle; must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children in DFPS custody.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks.
• Administer medications, as needed.
• Oversee youth's homework, chores, hygiene, and other activities of daily living.
• Be a positive role model for residents.
• Teach residents healthy life skills.
• Charting progress and incidents as required.
