St Joseph Catholic Orphan Society is seeking a Residential Field Trainer/Sr. Youth Care Worker to train and coach residential staff in essential job skills within a trauma-informed framework.

The role involves conducting orientation and ongoing trainings, coaching staff in the cottage environment, and developing a comprehensive training calendar to ensure high-quality care and staff readiness.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and coordinate staff development programs for residential youth care.
• Conduct New Employee Orientation and monthly Safe Crisis Management reviews.
• Provide one-on-one coaching to staff in cottage environments.
• Track training attendance and report deficiencies to supervisors.
• Develop an annual and monthly training calendar with multiple scheduling options.
• Create and update instructional content, testing, and materials.
• Support hybrid scheduling balancing field work and training duties.
