Job summary

New Hope Treatment Centers in Butner, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to youth in a high-acuity behavioral health program. Working under the supervision of the Lead RN, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while promoting physical, emotional, and psychiatric well-being.

You will collaborate with PMHNP, therapists, case managers, and staff to ensure trauma-informed, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• NC RN license (unrestricted) required.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Background checks, drug screening, and state clearances required.
• New Hope and DJJ orientation and training must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive nursing assessments upon admission and ongoing health assessments.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized nursing care plans.
• Administers medications and treatments per orders and policies; monitor effectiveness.
• Monitors medication effects and adverse reactions.
• Provides nursing care during medical and psychiatric emergencies.
• Collaborates with CNAs and interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
