Job summary

New Hope Treatment Centers seeks a dedicated Behavior Support Coach to work with justice-involved youth in a high-acuity residential program. You will provide therapeutic supervision, coaching, crisis intervention, and milieu management to stabilize youth and promote safety.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed practice, collaborative treatment, and maintaining detailed documentation within HIPAA-compliant systems. A strong team orientation and ability to respond calmly to crises are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related degrees preferred.
• Experience with adolescents in behavioral health or juvenile justice settings is helpful.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and behavior management.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop therapeutic relationships with youth and mentor them.
• Provide continuous supervision and crisis intervention as needed.
• Implement individualized behavior support plans and reinforce therapeutic interventions.
• Document youth progress and maintain a safe, structured environment.
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, case managers, educators, and DJJ staff.
