Job summary

Center for Family Services in Cumberland County, NJ, seeks a Reunification Therapist to support parent-child visitation for families in their homes or communities, using trauma-informed approaches. This role involves intake assessments, plan development, documentation, and coordination with DCP&P and community partners.

The ideal candidate holds a master's degree in social work or related field, with at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field.
• Minimum of one year of work experience with children and families, especially in child welfare or trauma.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Valid professional license (LPC, LAC, LSW, CSW) or in process.

Responsibilities

• Support parent-child visitation for families in homes or communities requiring therapeutic intervention.
• Complete intake assessments, assessment tools, and visitation plans; document visits and reports.
• Facilitate debriefings and visitation planning meetings; transport children/parents as needed.
• Coordinate with DCP&P and other stakeholders; attend meetings and trainings.
• Create visitation plans with active family involvement and trauma-informed approaches.
