Job summary

The Salvation Army in Philadelphia seeks an Anti-Human Trafficking Victim Advocate to support victims at the New Day Drop-In Center. This full-time role offers trauma-informed case management, intake, and coordination with PAD partners.

The position requires a BSW or related degree (MSW preferred), two years of relevant experience, willingness to travel, and a competitive salary with benefits.Immediate start.

Qualifications

• BSW or related degree required. MSW preferred.
• Two years of experience in human trafficking victim services or similar field.
• Experience with trauma-informed care, Sanctuary Model preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between sites.
• Willingness to travel long distances to meet clients and partners.
• Spanish language ability preferred.
• Mandatory reporter training within 30 days of employment and ongoing training.
• Must meet PA child protection clearances and mission alignment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial screening and intake for New Day PAD program referrals and walk-ins.
• Manage a 24/7 hotline coordination for HT victims and connect with services.
• Provide trauma-informed care and victim-centered services.
• Perform mobile case management and accompany clients to appointments.
• Develop individualized trauma-informed service plans for self-sufficiency.
• Link clients to employment, education, training, health and legal resources.
• Build rapport with local Law Enforcement to support victim-centered policies.
• Maintain confidential case notes and data in the Community Services database.
• Manage a direct service caseload of 15-20 clients.
