Job summary

The Salvation Army City Mission in Chicago seeks an Anti-Trafficking Specialist for VOCA to deliver short-term, emergency case management for trafficking survivors awaiting placement. You will establish trust, address urgent safety needs, and advocate for connections to long-term services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; BSW preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of case management experience preferred.
• Bi-lingual abilities a plus and driving may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide short-term, emergency case management for trafficking survivors awaiting placement.
• Apply trauma-informed, survivor-centered service delivery and advocacy.
• Address safety, housing, financial assistance, and legal protections as needed.
• Coordinate warm handoffs to long-term service providers and ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain case notes, reports, and track outcomes per program guidelines.
