Job summary

PrairieCare is seeking a Coverage Therapist in Minnesota who will provide group, family and individual therapy across diverse age groups. The role emphasizes trauma-informed, culturally responsive care within a multidisciplinary team.

Candidate must hold a Master’s degree and Minnesota licensure (LICSW/LMFT/LPCC/LP). Strong collaboration, documentation, and regulatory compliance are essential, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with Minnesota licensure (LICSW/LMFT/LPCC/LP) required.
• Clinical mental health experience preferred.
• Ability to qualify for company paid malpractice insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide process group therapy, family therapy, and individual therapy for assigned patients.
• May work with children, adolescents, and adults with mental illness as assigned.
• Collaboratively develop and assign treatment goals and interventions.
• Coordinate care with providers outside the treatment team at admission and discharge.
• Available to provide collaborative coverage for other therapists as needed.
• Maintain clinical records complying with PrairieCare policies and regulatory standards.
• Participate in case conferences and treatment team rounds.
• Attend trainings, supervision, and staff meetings as appropriate.
• Support quality assurance and peer review activities as assigned.
