Job summary

PrairieCare in Minnesota is seeking a coverage therapist to join a multi-disciplinary team providing trauma-informed mental health treatment. Hours are Monday–Friday, days, with cross-site coverage as needed.

You will deliver process, family, and individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults; develop treatment goals; coordinate care; and maintain records in accordance with HIPAA. Requires Master’s degree and Minnesota licensure (LICSW/LMFT/LPCC/LP).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, or counseling.
• Active Minnesota state licensure (LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LP) required.
• Experience in clinical mental health with diverse ages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide process, family, and individual therapy for assigned patients as appropriate.
• May work with children, adolescents, and adults with mental illness.
• Develop and assign treatment goals and interventions in collaboration with the treatment team.
• Coordinate care with external providers at admission and discharge as relevant.
• Provide cross-coverage across treatment teams when needed.
• Maintain clinical records in compliance with policies and HIPAA rules.
• Participate in case conferences and treatment team rounds.
• Attend trainings and supervision sessions; engage in quality assurance activities.
