Job summary

DOVE Center in Vermont seeks a dedicated Case Manager to deliver survivor-centered advocacy and comprehensive case management. The role involves in-person and telephone support across shelter, outreach, and community settings, with emphasis on safety planning, resource connection, and trauma-informed care.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, conduct home visits, and participate in group activities while maintaining client autonomy and confidentially.

Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor’s degrees in Social Work or related field and two years of experience in human services.
• Or an associate degree in a human services or related field and three years of experience in human services.
• Five years of experience in human services may substitute formal degrees.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management for survivors, including intake, needs assessment, safety planning, and referrals.
• Advocate in court and assist with filing protective orders or injunctions.
• Develop client-driven action plans and document all interactions within 24 hours of meetings.
• Co-facilitate groups and integrate financial empowerment into case management.
• Provide crisis advocacy via hotline and walk-ins; participate in HART on-call rotation.
