The Buckeye Ranch in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Student Support Specialist to join the Bonner Academy/Education team. You will provide one-on-one and small group instructional support, help clients complete assignments, and support the development of social, behavioral, and life skills in a trauma-informed, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least three years of relevant mental/behavioral health experience.
• Active driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group instructional support.
• Assist clients with completing academic assignments and activities.
• Support clients in developing social, behavioral, communication, and life skills.
• Assist with classroom management and behavior intervention strategies.
• Assist clients transition between classes and activities.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, trauma-informed positive treatment environment.
