Job summary

Tides Family Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated educator to monitor student learning and deliver instruction aligned with our curriculum, while using data to drive decisions.

You will create a structured, positive classroom environment for students with significant trauma backgrounds, plan differentiated lessons, and monitor IEP goals and progress, working with families and colleagues to support student success.

Qualifications

  • Foundational instructional experience in K-12 or equivalent
  • Ability to develop differentiated instruction
  • Experience assessing and supporting students with diverse needs
  • Familiarity with IEPs, goals, and accommodations
  • Strong communication with families and school teams

Responsibilities

  • Monitor student learning and provide academic instruction aligned with the curriculum.
  • Create a positive, structured learning environment aligned with school values and expectations.
  • Develop classroom environments suitable for trauma-affected youth.
  • Plan differentiated lessons with data-driven adjustments.
  • Monitor IEP goals and progress notes; communicate with families regularly.
