AWARE, Anaconda, MT, is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a full-time, on-site role. You will plan therapeutic lessons, analyze student data for growth, and provide high-quality education to all students while upholding the mission of our care-focused program.

Qualifications

• Strong passion for special education and trauma-informed care.
• Education in a therapeutic environment viewed as a vocation.
• Montana teaching credentials and special education certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop therapeutic, engaging classroom lessons aligned with education principles.
• Review and dissect data to identify student growth areas.
• Provide all students the highest quality education.
• Maintain high expectations to pursue the mission and vision.
• Foster a learning environment that builds self-worth and love of learning.
• Collaborate with clinical coaches to learn from feedback and improve instruction.
• Communicate regularly with parents and treatment team about performance.
