Job summary

Bay Cove Human Services on Cape Cod seeks a part-time Security Navigator to provide a calm, safety-conscious presence during evening, overnight, and weekend hours. You will monitor activity, support staff, and apply de-escalation techniques, without replacing clinical decisions.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong communication, ability to stand for long periods, and willingness to work Saturday and Sunday 1pm-9pm. Pay rate $20.40/hr.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Google Email/Apps.
• Stand for long periods and work in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Maintain awareness of activity around the building to ensure a calm environment.
• Support staff and ensure guidelines are observed and collaborations.
• Intervene in situations requiring safety and call emergency services as needed.
• Communicate with CCS/CBHC leadership and on-call staff about safety concerns.
• Attend required trainings and be dependable.
