Job summary

Bay Cove Human Services is seeking a CCS Mental Health Worker to provide direct services to adults in crisis. You will manage admissions, treatment planning, group facilitation, and discharge processes while ensuring unit safety and cleanliness.

The role requires working weekends (Sat/Sun 7am-3pm), full-time or per-diem options, and at least 3 years of mental health experience. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimally 3 years’ experience working in a mental health setting.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team player in a fast-paced unit.

• Ability to work in a pressured situation with clarity, judgment and compassion.

• Must be able to lift 20 pounds and complete cleaning and laundry.

Responsibilities

• Completes admissions, treatment plans, daily documentation, and discharge summaries per standards.
• Oversees daily schedule, client meetings, and therapeutic groups as leader, co-leader, or observer.
• Maintains unit cleanliness, assists in meals, bed setup, and linens.
• Forges relationships with insurers, DMH, and Cape Cod resources.
• Participates in daily rounds with the multidisciplinary team and follows up on issues.
• Ensures safety protocols are reviewed and followed by all staff.
• Supports referrals and warm handoffs to outpatient and crisis services per clinical direction.
• Documents in eHana and communicates for admissions, discharge, and continuity workflows.
• Participates in CCS/CBHC training, team consultations, and quality improvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
