Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education, special education, or related field.
• Massachusetts Principal/Administrator license or eligibility.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in special education or therapeutic setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed practices, behavioral interventions, and special education law.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and professional leadership to staff in special education/behavioral health.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the school and compliance with licensing/accreditation standards.
• Lead administrative oversight, curriculum/program development, scheduling, and MCAS/testing implementation.
• Conduct parent conferences, team meetings, and staff recruitment/retention efforts.
• Maintain ongoing communications with referral sources and the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
