Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma with 3 years of experience in education or human services; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with adolescents with emotional/ behavioral special needs.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and writing skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team in an alternative setting.
• Requires a current valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• The Behavior Interventionist provides day-to-day behavioral support for Mill Pond School. Work with staff to increase understanding of the behavioral needs of the students. Ensure that all students are treated fairly and equitably.
