Job summary

The Lincoln Center for Family and Youth is seeking a part-time School-Based Counselor to provide mental health support and case management in the Boyertown School District. This 20-hour-per-week, 43-week position focuses on trauma-informed care and collaboration with families and school staff.

Responsibilities include identifying students in need, delivering individual, group, and family counseling, and coordinating resources to support student success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Ability to work with trauma-affected students and families.
• Experience coordinating community resources and referrals.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health therapeutic support and case management to students.
• Identify students needing trauma support and provide counseling interventions.
• Deliver group, individual and family counseling and mentoring for students and families.
• Coordinate home-based resources and community services for families.
