Job summary

The Lincoln Center for Family and Youth in Pennsylvania seeks a School-Based Counselor to provide mental health therapeutic support and case management within the Boyertown School District.

You will identify students needing trauma support, deliver counseling interventions, collaborate with teachers and families, and coordinate with community resources. Travel to designated elementary schools is required. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week role.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Experience in school-based mental health or counseling preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed mental health counseling to students.
• Perform case management for students and families.
• Collaborate with school staff to support student well-being.
• Coordinate with parents and community resources.
• Advise districts on trauma-informed approaches and educational programs.
• Travel to designated elementary schools as needed.
