Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) seeks staff to provide trauma-focused support and education for youths aged 6 and older in a structured setting. The role emphasizes supervision, de-escalation, and assistance with daily activities, arrivals, and field trips within the Hampton Academy program.

The position requires at least a high school diploma, with preferred associates or bachelor’s coursework in education. Prior experience with disabled or emotionally challenged students is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in an education-related field preferred.
• 1–3 years experience with special needs children (middle/high school).
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents and school staff.
• Criminal history check and work authorization in the U.S. required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and supervises students in all settings.
• Assists in de-escalation of students.
• Assists with arrival and dismissal of students.
• Helps with supervision during drills, assemblies, play periods, and field trips.
• Performs other duties as assigned by administrator or teacher.
