Job summary

PsyPhyCare is seeking a Licensed Psychologist or Psychiatrist to provide in-person behavioral health and counseling services for a federally funded program in the Victoria, Texas area.

The clinician will deliver client-centered services to adults with behavioral health, trauma, and life-transition concerns, offering individual, group, couples, and family counseling while using evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology or Medical degree as applicable.
• License to practice psychology or medicine in the relevant state.
• Independent clinical practice license or eligibility for such licensure.
• MD/DO with psychiatry residency and full medical license.
• Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person individual and group counseling services.
• Provide couples and family counseling as appropriate.
• Conduct behavioral health assessments and evaluate client needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches.
• Support clients with adjustment, trauma-related, behavioral health, and relationship concerns.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Coordinate referrals and additional behavioral health services when appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional standards.
• Comply with applicable federal, state, and program requirements.

Education

Doctoral degree in Psychology

Current license as a Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist

License permitting independent clinical practice

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Completion of an accredited psychiatry residency program

Current and unrestricted medical license

Board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry preferred
