Job summary

Mindful Health in Texas is seeking an LMSW, LPC-Associate, LCSW, or LPC to deliver group psychotherapy and psychoeducational services, either in person or via telehealth. The clinician supports care aligned with licensure, emphasizing ethical, client-centered practice across PHP/IOP programs.

Requirements include a master’s degree in a relevant field, active Texas license, and at least 1 year of clinical assessment experience. CPT/EMDR/WET training preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a master’s degree in social work, psychology, human development, counseling or behavioral science field from an accredited college or university.
• CPT, EMDR, & WET training or certification, preferred
• Must be actively licensed in the State of Texas to provide clinical care, treatment, and services.
• A minimum of 1 years' experience in clinical assessment & diagnosis with a focus on mental health treatment and prevention.
• Active supervision plan with an LCSW-S or LPC-S, if applicable.
• Active CPR Certification
• Experience serving military population preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide group psychotherapy and psycho-educational services according to PHP/IOP program schedule.
• Co-facilitate family therapy sessions within PHP/IOP programs.
• Develop and review discharge plans with clients and families.
• Complete psychosocial assessment within 72 hours of admission to PHP/IOP.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary treatment planning and team meetings.
• Document all clinical encounters clearly and concisely.
• Demonstrate ongoing evaluation of diagnosis, psychosocial factors, and growth opportunities.
• Assist with discharge planning and linkage to community resources.
• Communicate effectively with clinicians to ensure quality care.
• Maintain professional appearance and positive community presence.
• Participate in QA/QI processes to ensure evidence-based practice.
• Maintain timeliness in documentation and case updates.
• Respond to medical emergencies and support physicians and nurse practitioners.
