Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health in Spokane, WA is seeking a Psychiatric‑Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our Trueblood program team. You will provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnose, prescribe medications, and collaborate with FBH staff to deliver evidence‑based, trauma‑informed care in community settings.

The role requires WA ARNP license with prescriptive authority, PMHNP board certification, a DEA license, and willingness to travel between community sites using your vehicle.

Qualifications

• Washington State ARNP license with prescriptive authority.
• Psychiatric‑Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (ANCC)
• DEA license
• Must be qualified to be credentialed with insurance companies.
• Must have an unrestricted and valid driver’s license and be willing to use a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and diagnosis for assigned clients and crisis medical evaluation as needed.
• Provide patient education regarding diagnosis and medication treatment.
• Select, prescribe, and monitor psychotropic medications.
• Coordinate with the Chief Medical Officer and FBH treatment teams.
• Maintain documentation in FBH’s electronic medical record and ensure timely records.
• Meet productivity requirements and travel daily to community sites.
