Job summary

Healthier You Counseling Center seeks a dedicated Primary Therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy from American Fork, UT. The role combines in-office sessions with flexible documentation and telehealth.

You will perform psychosocial assessments, create treatment plans, track progress, and coordinate with other providers. The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or MFT, and is licensed or eligible for licensure in Utah.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related behavioral health field.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in Utah (LCSW, LMFT, CMHC or equivalent).
• Experience with treatment planning and dual diagnosis presentations.
• Ability to manage a full clinical caseload and use electronic health record systems efficiently.
• Strong therapeutic communication skills and cultural humility.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Coordinate care with other providers and maintain timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings; provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Offer education and support to clients and families; adhere to ethical and regulatory standards.
