Job summary

The Parent Child Center of Tulsa is seeking Part-time Parent Educators to support the Positive Parenting program in Tulsa County. You will use the Parents as Teachers curriculum to promote positive parenting, support child health and development, and connect families with community resources through home visits and group activities.

You will work with families on a twice-monthly basis, maintain timely documentation, and collaborate with program staff to address family goals while upholding PAT

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or CDA required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to engage with diverse families and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist families in learning about child development and positive parenting through home visits and group activities.
• Engage with clients in the home setting from a trauma-informed perspective and maintain regular contact.
• Manage assigned caseload and complete documentation within standard timeframes.
• Represent the program in community outreach and collaborate with partners.
• Develop Family Goal Plans with client input and monitor progress.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation and progress notes for each family.
