Job summary

The Parent Educator role at The Parent-Child Center of Tulsa delivers Parents as Teachers curriculum through home visits to families with children aged 0-5 in Tulsa County. You will assess needs, provide referrals, and document progress to support healthy development and parent-child interaction.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or CDA.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist parents in learning child development and positive parenting through home visits.
• Engage families in trauma-informed, strength-based support and referrals.
• Manage caseload of 18-20 families, with regular documentation within set timeframes.
• Represent the program in community outreach activities monthly.
• Develop and monitor Family Goal Plans with clients.
