Catholic Charities of Acadiana is seeking an Outreach Client Coordinator to engage with sheltered and unsheltered individuals in Lafayette. The role combines work at St.

Joseph Diner and Stella Maris Hygiene Center with street outreach, building trust, completing assessments, and linking people to shelter, housing navigation and case management. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (social work/human services preferred) or equivalent, 2+ years of direct client engagement, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; HS diploma considered with relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years in direct client engagement or service coordination.
• Experience with homelessness or behavioral health is preferred.
• Knowledge of housing programs and community resources.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting relationships with sheltered and unsheltered clients at service sites and during street outreach.
• Complete and update intake assessments and required documentation.
• Identify needs and connect clients with CCA programs and community resources.
• Transport clients to appointments as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain confidential client records and coordinate with teams for integrated support.
