Job summary

Nexus Family Healing in Onamia, MN is seeking a Milieu Supervisor to lead trauma-informed milieu operations and mentor staff in daily program delivery. You will plan schedules, oversee treatment guidance plans, and ensure safe, therapeutic interactions for youth in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related industry.
• Minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving requirements
• Successful DHS background check
• Handle With Care certification/training completed

Responsibilities

• Prepares staff work schedules to ensure adequate staff and client ratios.
• Plans trauma-informed daily treatment services and facilitates transportation, family time, and program trips.
• Ensures staff interact in a calm, therapeutic, trauma-informed manner.
• Mentors assigned staff and supports team members.
• Manages shift-related client and staff documentation and notifications to leadership/families.
• Participates in development and implementation of client treatment plans and interventions.
• Monitors delivery of treatment services and ensures family inclusion and communication.
• Tracks youth needs and ensures plans meet clothing, dietary, court/therapy needs with proper documentation.
• Leads assignment of Youth Care Professionals for youth check-ins and advocacy.
• Assists in applicant reviews and staff selections.
• Provides on-the-job coaching and trauma-informed training to staff.
• Oversees timecard accuracy and staff performance evaluations.
