Job summary

Physician Practice Enhancement is seeking an experienced Mental Health Therapist for Partnership Health in Hamilton, NJ. This outpatient office serves Hamilton Township employees and First Responders, offering a full-time schedule.

The role requires an active LCSW or LPC license in New Jersey, with at least three years of post-licensure clinical experience and strong crisis management skills.

Qualifications

• Active LCSW or LPC license issued by NJ Division of Consumer Affairs.
• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience post-licensure.
• Experience with First Responders or trauma-focused populations preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with EMR and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with patients, staff and physicians; coordinate care.
• Facilitate individual and/or group counseling sessions.
• Provide and score assessment screening tools.
• Evaluate and diagnose patients according to DSM V and ASAM criteria.
• Develop treatment goals with clients and document progress in EMR.
• Recognize and respond to psychiatric crises with appropriate interventions.
