Job summary

Rooted Counseling & Wellness in Utah seeks a compassionate, relational and clinically skilled Mental Health Therapist to join as a W-2 employee with a minimum of 20 clinical hours per week. The role emphasizes trauma-informed care and evidence-based practice in a collaborative, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
• Current Utah license or associate license: CSW, ACMHC, AMFT, LCSW, CMHC, or LMFT.
• Ability to maintain a minimum of 20 clinical hours per week.
• Specialized training in at least one trauma-processing modality, including EMDR, ART, IFS, Somatic approaches.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a minimum of 20 clinical hours per week.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide trauma-informed individual and/or couples therapy in a warm, compassionate environment.
• Integrate evidence-based and experiential approaches based on each client’s needs.
• Collaborate with a supportive clinical team focused on holistic, individualized care.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and ethical clinical documentation.
• Participate in clinical consultation, supervision, and ongoing professional development.
