Job summary

Volunteers of America, Utah seeks a licensed mental health clinician to join an inpatient subacute program. You will deliver individual and group therapy, assess mental health needs, and coordinate discharge planning with the interdisciplinary team.

You will develop treatment plans, document progress, and support dual-diagnosis care in a collaborative, trauma-informed environment. Utah licensure is required.

Qualifications

• For this role, hold a clinical master's degree and an active Utah license (CMHC/ACMHC/LCSW/CSW).
• Experience with mental health/substance use disorders preferred.
• Ability to document treatment plans, goals, and insurance authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing clinical assessments of clients’ mental health symptoms and functioning.
• Provide individual and group therapy within a residential/subacute setting.
• Coordinate discharge planning and referrals for aftercare services.
• Incorporate case management into each client’s care from admission.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
