Job summary

Sandstone Care - Cascade, Colorado is seeking a Mental Health Technician to support clients in a 24/7 facility. The role combines direct client care, therapeutic activity support, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a safe, therapeutic environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in behavioral health, a high school diploma (associates or bachelor’s preferred), CPR certification (or willingness to obtain), and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with preferred degrees.
• CPR certification preferred or obtainable within 30 days.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving history required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and guide clients during activities; support goal achievement.
• Respond to incidents and de-escalate to maintain safety.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure care.
• Maintain records and report significant changes; ensure confidentiality.
• Provide trauma-informed, compassionate support to clients.
