Indiana University Bloomington’s Student Health Center seeks a Part Time Mental Health Specialist to deliver clinical services to students who are victims or survivors of interpersonal violence through CAPS Survivor Counseling Services.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a relevant mental health field, 4 years post‑degree experience, and Indiana licensure eligibility. This is an in‑person, 10‑month appointment at IU Bloomington with hours between 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and up to 29 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in relevant mental health area from an accredited program.
• 4 years of post‑degree experience.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and Licensed Couples and Family Therapist in Indiana upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical treatment of victims and survivors of interpersonal violence.
• Offers crisis drop‑in coverage and emergency services for CAPS.
• Attends staff and clinical team meetings and conducts intake assessments.
• Maintains accurate clinical notes following CAPS policies and documents in charts.
• Collaborates with campus partners to support survivors and utilizes campus resources as needed.
