Qualifications

MSW degree required from an accredited program.
Permanent Indiana LCSW licensure required.
3–5 years of healthcare, mental health, or community-based experience.
Crisis Intervention Certification due within 6 months of hire.
Experience with psychosocial assessments and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

Meet face-to-face with patients and families, conducting mental health assessments and developing treatment plans.
Assess psychosocial risk factors, support networks, and coping abilities.
Counsel patients and families regarding emotional, social, and financial needs.
Coordinate with protective services for abuse/neglect cases.
Maintain crisis intervention and de-escalation practices for acute crises.
Provide specialized mental health services including crisis intervention and referrals.
