Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated counselor in Spokane to provide episodic, trauma-informed counseling within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team. You will conduct risk assessments, develop safety plans, and facilitate treatment groups, while maintaining meticulous records and coordinating care with other clinicians and support staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
• Must apply for Counselor Agency Affiliated - Registered credential from the WA State Dept. of Health within 30 days of hire.
• Must have an unrestricted driver's license and be willing to use their personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide episodic, trauma-informed, person-centered counseling within scope of practice.
• Maintain client records and confidentiality per agency policies.
• Conduct risk assessments, develop safety plans, and provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Facilitate client treatment groups and collaborate with the care team.
• Represent the agency professionally in the community and with partners.
