Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health in Spokane seeks a licensed behavioral health professional to provide trauma-informed counseling to clients with diverse needs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, conduct risk assessments, and support crisis intervention.

This role requires travel between FBH work sites and the ability to coordinate with community partners. Required: Bachelor’s in social work, psychology, or related field, plus WA credential within

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
• Must obtain WA Counselor Agency Affiliated – Registered credential within 30 days of hire.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to use a personal vehicle for work.
• Preferred: one year of experience with psychiatric impairment.
• Knowledge of Washington Administrative Codes related to mental health services.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and empathy are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide episodic, trauma-informed, person-centered counseling using evidence-based practices.
• Maintain client records and documentation in a timely, confidential manner.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans; provide crisis intervention.
• Facilitate client treatment groups and coordinate care with the team.
• Represent the agency professionally to the community and partners.
• Participate in required meetings, supervision, and training as needed.
