Job summary

A Space for Us Counseling, Inc. is a growing integrated wellness center in New Jersey seeking a compassionate, licensed LPC to join our clinical team.

The role emphasizes culturally responsive and trauma-informed care, treating individuals, couples, and families within an integrated center. The LPC will provide comprehensive behavioral health services, collaborating with other clinicians and wellness professionals.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in counseling or a qualifying behavioral health discipline.
• Active, unrestricted New Jersey Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in good standing.
• Ability to practice professional counseling independently in New Jersey.
• Clinical experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, or families.
• Knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and clinical documentation.
• Understanding of trauma-informed and culturally responsive care.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy.
• Complete assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Use evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive interventions.
• Support clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, grief, and life transitions.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety planning when needed.
• Coordinate care and provide referrals when appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, and timely documentation.
• Participate in consultation, team meetings, and professional development
