Job summary

Institute for Nonviolence Chicago is seeking a Supervisor of the SC2 life coach team in Chicago to lead day-to-day operations, support high-risk participants, and coordinate with community partners. The role requires a bachelor’s in a related human services field or equivalent experience, strong leadership and trauma-informed practice, and the ability to manage caseloads and documentation in Apricot/SmartCare.

Salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• At least five years experience with high-risk individuals, preferably CVI
• Two years experience supervising staff from diverse backgrounds
• Willingness to work some nights and weekends
• Knowledge of Chicago neighborhoods and violence drivers
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the life coach team and oversee caseloads
• Supervise staff and conduct performance evaluations
• Attend partner and community meetings and coordinate with stakeholders
• Ensure data entry and documentation are timely in Apricot/SmartCare
• Provide trauma-informed support and linkages to housing and services
• Facilitate CB-I groups and participate in VP-CST activities
