New Life Centers Of Chicagoland Nfp is seeking a Career Coach Case Manager for our Chicago, IL location. This full-time, in-person role focuses on high-risk youth and adults affected by violence, delivering case management, career guidance, and workforce development to help participants achieve vocational stability.

The position collaborates with Street Outreach Workers, Victim Advocates, employers, and community partners, with some local travel and pay commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of direct youth services experience.
• Demonstrated cross-cultural competence with diverse populations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
• Ability to learn databases and case management systems.
• Commitment to confidentiality and handling sensitive information.
• Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork with participants and partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive case management and career development services to youth and adults affected by violence.
• Maintain caseloads, conduct assessments, develop service plans, and track progress toward employment goals.
• Connect participants with healthcare, mental health, financial literacy, disability benefits and public assistance resources.
• Deliver individual career coaching and employment readiness support.
• Facilitate workshops on resumes, interview prep, job search strategies, and workplace expectations.
• Build and maintain relationships with employers, workforce agencies, and community partners.
• Coordinate participant referrals and service delivery with internal programs.
• Identify safety concerns and develop trauma-informed care plans.
• Maintain accurate case notes, files, and program data for reporting and audits.
• Participate in meetings and ongoing professional development.
