Job summary

BUILD, Inc. on Chicago's West Side is seeking a SC2 Therapist (SC2T) to provide immediate support to community members affected by violence, delivering individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and ongoing behavioral health services in community and hospital settings.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, conduct assessments and treatment plans, maintain clinical documentation, and participate in supervision and professional development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Working toward or holding licensure (LCSW/LCPC) is required.
• Experience providing therapy to individuals and families affected by trauma or crisis.
• Flexible schedule including late evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work collaboratively in community-based and hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy to community members affected by violence or other stressors.
• Deliver crisis intervention and short-term stabilization in community and hospital settings.
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with community partners, hospitals, and internal staff for coordinated care.
• Attend supervision, training, and professional development sessions; participate in outreach.
