Job summary

Brightpoint is seeking a Juvenile Justice Specialist in Alton, IL. You will provide trauma-informed, strength-based case management for juvenile justice-involved youth, meeting families where they are—home or community sites—and coordinating with schools, probation, and health services to ensure integrated supports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Experience working with juvenile justice-involved youth preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle are required.
• Clear and strength-based communication style, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a caseload of clients with varied needs, applying social work principles in diagnosis and treatment.
• Provides trauma-informed, strength-based services to youth and families in home or community settings.
• Assesses situations and develops wraparound service plans with supervisory approval.
• Coordinates services and resources; documents assessments and service notes in a web-based platform.
