Job summary

Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid is seeking an Intake Specialist in St. Cloud, MN, for a hybrid schedule (remote + in-office). The role centers on trauma-informed, client-centered intakes, screening for eligibility, and documenting case details in a respectful, confidential manner.

• Experience with trauma-informed, client-centered communication.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, and Word.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work under pressure while remaining patient.

Responsibilities

• Conduct trauma-informed intakes and eligibility screening, write case summaries, and enter data into the LegalServer system.
• Manage a high-volume intake workflow across multiple channels (phone, email, online intake, referrals).
• Relay information to staff and coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support clients.
