Job summary

API Chaya is seeking a Human Trafficking Survivor Advocate to provide intensive case management and crisis intervention for survivors of human trafficking in Seattle.

The Advocate should excel at trauma-informed and survivor-centered advocacy, managing competing priorities, and facilitating access to services for clients as well as engaging, building relationships with and communicating effectively with diverse communities and partners.

Qualifications

• Trauma-informed, survivor-centered advocacy experience
• Experience with case management, crisis response or survivor advocacy
• Familiarity with immigrant and refugee communities and languages is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, survivor-centered case management to survivors
• Answer helpline calls from survivors and others
• Conduct screenings, intake, and crisis intervention
• Coordinate services across health, legal, housing, and community resources
• Maintain accurate case records and reports
