Qualifications

  • Three or more years of related experience.
  • Trained in Nurturing Parenting Curriculum as a Facilitator preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Complete grant-required assessments to identify family strengths, needs, barriers, and goals.
  • Respond to families experiencing crises by providing immediate support, safety planning, and stabilization services.
  • Collaborate with families and Family Coaches to create and monitor personalized plans that promote self-sufficiency and long-term stability.
  • Connect families with internal and external resources, ensuring timely access to housing, employment, healthcare, childcare, counseling, and other support services.
  • Assess eligibility, coordinate emergency financial assistance, maintain required documentation, and ensure compliance with funding guidelines.
  • Deliver evidence-based parenting classes, workshops, and one-on-one coaching to strengthen parenting skills and healthy family relationships.
  • Accurately document services, assessments, case notes, and outcomes in Salesforce and other required systems while meeting grant and agency guidelines.
  • Work closely with MOBCS’s Family Coaches, Adult Education, Employment Services, and Clinical Services, K-12, ELC and other community partners to provide coordinated, holistic support.
  • Conduct ongoing follow-up, reassessments, and progress reviews to evaluate goal achievement and improve family stability and self-sufficiency.
  • Build trusting relationships, advocate for families, and empower participants to access resources, overcome barriers, and achieve long-term success.
  • Participate in agency meetings, staff training, and professional development activities.
  • Represent the Family Success Network at community meetings, outreach events, and partner collaborations.
  • Support volunteers, interns, and student placements through mentoring and guidance, as appropriate.
  • Maintain current knowledge of community resources, evidence-based practices, and grant requirements through ongoing training and continuing education.
