Job summary

Archways NH is seeking an ACERT Specialist to build supportive relationships with families, assess strengths and needs, and connect families with resources that promote stability and well-being.

Working with police, schools, LRCS, and community partners, the Specialist provides trauma-informed, non-investigative support while maintaining professional boundaries and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

  • Must have strong communication, collaboration, organization, documentation, time-management, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to engage families respectfully and maintain professional boundaries in potentially traumatic situations.
  • Experience supporting children and families in family support, education, or related community settings preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work within each family's structure to support family choice while respecting differences.
  • Provide trauma-informed guidance, referrals, and practical family support in homes and community settings.
  • Assist families in safeguarding the health, safety, and well-being of their children.
  • Identify family strengths and needs, and help plan next steps with goals and priorities.
  • Document intake contacts and ACERT interactions accurately and promptly.
  • Connect families with community resources through information, referrals, and warm handoffs.
  • Maintain documentation securely and participate in supervision and training as required.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement, schools, LRCS, and partners while respecting privacy and consent.
  • Perform duties in accordance with Archways policies and professional boundaries.
